Audrey Hollifield first worked at the Board of Retirement from 2017 to 2021 and is now back after two years in New York City. She graduated from Lee University in 2014 with a B.S. in Human Development with an emphasis in Business. Audrey has worked in a bank, a daycare, in the Ghostbusters building, and at a diamond auction office right beside Rockefeller Center. She is happy to be back home in Nashville and at Richland Ave Financial.
Melissa Goucher

Melissa Goucher joined Richland Ave Financial in December 2021, after moving to the area from Hernando, Mississippi (a suburb of Memphis). She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas and worked for 12 years in banking before serving in an administrative/ financial role in several churches and, most recently, a private Christian school. She has been married to Scott since 1993 and has 3 daughters and 1 son.
Chris Compton

Chris Compton joined the staff of Richland Ave Financial in 2016. Chris is a native of Greeneville, Tennessee. He graduated from East Tennessee State University, earning an A.A.S in Radiologic Technology and a B.S. in Health Care Administration; he also graduated from Welch College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry. In 2007, he completed the M.A. in Bible Exposition from Columbia International University.
John Brummitt
President and CEO
John Brummitt, son of a Free Will Baptist minister, has been with the Board of Retirement since the spring of 2006. He assumed the role of President and CEO in January 2016. John graduated in 2004 with a business degree from Welch College, and in 2011 graduated with honors with an MBA/ Finance degree from Tennessee Tech University. He also earned his Charter Retirement Planning Counselor Certification. John is married to Ashley, and together, they have two sons, Jude and Parker.
